Lucky Loofah
Lucky Loofah
Loofah is generally speaking a tropical plant but I manage to grow one or two gourds over the summer in the Khala Naturals’ Urban Gardens.
Yes! Loofah is a gourd that you can eat when it is young or let it grow into a fibrous tube that you peel when it has ripened. It is always fun for people to discover that loofah is not plastic! It’s a plant and wonderful way to naturally exfoliate your skin.
The loofah was shredded and added to this soap but not so much that it is super scratchy. .
Lots of moisturizing antioxidants in this bar from organic olive oil and raw shea butter that helps improve the look and feel of your skin. Scented with a magical combination of lavender, lemongrass, and lime essential oils.
